About the Author
Phyllis Noe Pflomm is a graduate of Stephens College, Columbia, M.O., and Barnard College. She is a children's librarian in the Dayton and Montgomery County (O.H.) Public Library system, where she tells stories, many of which are draw-and tell, to children of all ages.

What a great book for substitutes!!!!

I really enjoy using this book when I am subbing in a classroom. When the lesson plans fall short, I pull this book out! The children enjoy trying to guess what the picture is going to be!!!

I'm a reading teacher, and this is great for getting the attention of a whole group from kindergarten through 6th grade. I have the older children draw the picture with me. Every one is involved.

Storytime Delight

I have used this book for years as part of my storytimes. Drawings are easy to mimic and stories are short and fun. When I lost our copy to a flood, finding this used copy was a real delight.
